Experience in Dredging and Offshore

Wesco operates in the Dredging and Offshore markets and focuses on the engineering, construction, installation, overhaul and maintenance of installations and equipment. The company works on both newbuild projects and modifications to existing solutions and is active, among others, in the dredging industry.

The activities range from light steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet metal work to heavy structures and specialised equipment. Examples include suction heads, discharge valves, grabs, lifting equipment, cranes and steel structures.

Wesco also plays an important role during both planned and unplanned port calls of seagoing and dredging vessels. Flexibility and the ability to respond quickly are particularly important in these situations.

IJmuiden is familiar territory

IJmuiden is not unfamiliar territory to us. Through Breman Offshore, we have already been active from this location for some time. Breman Offshore has extensive facilities here, including a large workshop, a 200-metre quay and a gantry crane with a lifting capacity of 240 tonnes (see image below). With the acquisition of Wesco IJmuiden, we are adding additional knowledge and experience to this familiar location!

Moving forward together

With the addition of Wesco IJmuiden, the Breman Group now brings together an even broader range of technical disciplines and facilities. This creates new opportunities to take on projects together and to better connect knowledge and capacity across the group.

For our customers, this provides opportunities to bring different parts of a project together within the Breman Group. From engineering and production to installation, maintenance, overhaul and on-site service.

We are very enthusiastic about this next step and the opportunities that the collaboration with Wesco will bring.
